Was the us justified in going to war in Vietnam?

Yes and no. It's more of a political opinion. The U. S. always have and always will step in to protect a weaker country from a communist government or any government that is interfering or messing with that weaker country. In my opinion the U. S. probably should have pulled our troops out of Vietnam earlier, but its up to you.
