6. Ignoring your knowledge of the outcome of the war, do you think you would have been easily persuaded to go along with the American revolution if you were a middle-class colonist (as the majority of the population was) ? Why or why not?

    Yes.

    middle-class colonists were the most affected by the British rule and taxes.

    When you are the one that works the hardest but the one that pays the highest tax you are easily persuaded to pick up a weapon and fight for your rights.

    The Boston Tea "Party" was a good example of people being sick of paying high taxes for something that was forced on them.
