How are human choices affecting the world's sharks?

I thought I knew what this answer was but ha guess not!

We have over fished their food sources, slaughter them for their fins, pollute their environment, netted their breeding grounds and hunting zones for our own recreational areas, Hunted them to near extinction based on fear.
