How was Rome's location advantageous for the romans?

    Well it was located in between 7 hills, it was near the Tiber river and had fertile soil.

    the 7 hills made a natural defense/safety wall

    the Tiber river had freshwater a water route/escape and also kept the dirt fertile.

    the fertile soil was good for crops to eat to survive.
