11. A because of The world wars the other major powers fell (namely the British Empire wwhich was destroyed) and this along with the fact that the United States was do far removed from the war allowed them to prosper after the war and go on to lead the world. If Hitler had one thing right, then it was his claim that British Empire would fall.
