The correct answer is Toussaint L'Overture.

L'Overture was the main leader of the Haitain Revolution at the end of the 1700's. The Haitains were inspired by other revolutions that took place during this era such as the French Revolution and the American Revolution. L'Overture took ideas from these revolutions and used them to rally citizens to overthrow the oppressive French regime. After the success of the revolution, L'Overture became the leader of Haiti (aka Saint Domingue).
