How did the British victory in the French and Indian war lead to the American revolution

It lead to the American revolution, because the end of the French and Indian War caused great debt to Britain. Thus, they placed harsh taxes on the 13 colonies in the New World, or America. This created tension among them, which slowly but surely led to the American Revolutionary War.
