The Columbian Exchange assisted with slavery, the transportation of African slaves, and the deaths of thousands. Since the Columbian Exchange was the transportation of new foods, technologies, plants, and animals, slavery came along with it. It is responsible, in part, for the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
