When did romans gain control of the eastern mediterranean?

It would be when the Romans successfully conquer the Greek city-states and Macedon and also defeating the Seleucid Empire. Also influencing and later on occupying the Ptolemaic Egypt further secure their rule in the Eastern Mediterranean. Such achievements made the Roman Empire the dominant power in the Mediterranean in the ancient world.
