Black men fought on different sides of the revolutionary war, largely depending on the region where they lived. how did their regional locations affect african-americans decision on which side to support?

    Blacks were more likely to side with the United States, but because they were less privileged in the south, southerners were more likely to side with the British for their freedom. The British wouldn't have given them their freedom anyway, but it was worth trying to fight for.
