How and by whom is jim betrayed? have other slaves been similarly treated by this character? how does huck respond to jim's capture?

    Jim is betrayed when the Dauphin not only captures him but then turns around and then sells him. Huck responds to this by portraying himself to be Tom Sawyer so that he can pretend to be part of the family that captured Jim.
