African American's contributions during the WWI were a big impact. As we know that even though slavery was outlawed in the north the African American people were still being treated poorly by whites and others. But as they joined the fight in our military it gave our military a great advantage as we can see that African american people are very skilled in fighting so we had a great advantage.
