Both revolution involved radical employment of new technologies. For example the agrarian revolution was characterized by rapid mechanization of agriculture while the green revolution involves the rapid transfer of technologies into the field of agriculture. A striking difference between the two is the environment consciousness of the green revolution while still using pesticides, which were not available to farmers back then.
