What was the real result of the 15th amendment

    As the 15th amendment was supposed to make everyone allowed to vote, no matter what race they were, it created tests that African Americans would have to take in order to vote. even if you were legally allowed to vote, you would still have to pass a literacy test, which at that time, may African Americans weren't literate.
