    It continued the trends of social hierarchies and also added levels to the Spanish American social class system. Europeans saw themselves above the slaves and natives of the Americas. the French had natives in Canada assist them in the fur trade and later had them as allies in another war against Britain (French and Indian war). All Europeans groups used slaves to replace the dying natives to boost the economies and this wave of Africans to the Americas disrupted the populations in the old world due to the lack of men.
