The Renaissance represented a time of a new generation of people who created things such as inventors, artist, musicians and more. Basically, a time where lots of them broke onto the scene of history such as Beethoven, Benjamin Franklin, Edgar Allen Poe; etc. The word renaissance actually means "rebirth".
