According to the most reliable statistics of deaths caused by the actions of C ivil War, 68,178 Union colored soldiers were killed or wounded, 2,751 people were shot. Many sources state that the rest of the soldiers possibly died because of desease / starvation/capturing. Also, many people died of explosion during the War.
