    The most heavily populated colonial region included Boston, Philadelphia, and New York City

    Unlike in the New England Colonies, many different religious groups lived in the Middle colonies. Towns in these colonies often had more than one kind of church. Ex. A Presbyterian may be only a block away from a Quaker meeting house.
