Who was eligible to take part in athenian government during the age of pericles?

The Age of Pericles is part of Greece’s Classical Age. It is during this period that all male citizens, regardless of social class, age or status are considered eligible to take part in Athenian government. This period runs from the middle of the 5th century to either the end of the war in 404 or the death of Pericle at the start of the Peloponnesian War.
