How do marx and engels understand the motor of change in human history? how do they view the role of class?

    According to both Marx and Engels it is the conflict that drives humanity, the conflict between those who are oppressed and those who are the oppressors. This is according to them the motor of change of humanity. Class to Marx and Engels was a key factor in what they saw as the reconstructing and restructuring the society.
