How did Paleolithic people benefit from living together in a group?

    The bigger the group the better chance they had of scaring off other threats. They could share information and new ways with one another. With more people, only the biggest and strongest could survive (natural selection) and this is because if you were disabled or slower than the group, you would probably be left behind. It was also a problem to travel in groups because disease and sickness spread more quickly.
