How much of the Mediterranean was the byzantine general Belisarius able to reconquer?

He and Justinian took back most of it, including Italy, north Africa, and parts of Spain. The area around southern France and some parts of Africa around Gibraltar were still unconquered. After they died the empire lost most of the territories again.
