    The factors, that contributed to the weakening of the catholic church are as follow:

    1) Humanism (non-religious thinking).

    2) commercialism of indulgences.

    3) the nice division lessened people's respect for the regime.

    4) Corruption within the priesthood (ex. Simony).

    5) Conflict between the pope and European monarchs.

    John Wycliffe believed that the bible was the supreme supply of spiritual authority. He had the bible translated from Latin to English. The church had his teachings burned, and plenty of Catholics were killed for basic cognitive process.

    Jan Hus was a priest in geographic area. He made an agreement with Wycliffe and needed to form the bible clear to the pope. He got inactive in 1414 and burned at the stake in 1415.
