From whom did the populist party speak

It might be said that the populist party speaks from farmers and laborers because they wanted to solve their problems on their own. They seek for the elimination of the gold standard (they supported silver standard), the passage of an income tax, the end of life of Federal Judges and the printing of papers chartered by private banks.
