What were the main features of the French court in 1791?

    I n 1791, or two years after the revolution in France, the French court abuolished the absolute monarchy and established the first written constitution of the new republic. The constitution came out of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and assured rights, liberty and sovereignity to the French citizens and also the right to have elections.
