What was the major difference between the english bill of rights and the magna carta?

    The Bill of Rights is a "one way" document. ALL it does is limit the power of the Crown to restrict the rights of his subjects - all of his subjects.

    By contrast, Magna Carta is a 'two way' document - a contract between liege and vassal.
