By 1850, what agricultural products was the south producing?

    The agricultural product that they produce at that time is cotton, tobacco, rice, sugar, hemp, and indigo.

    In order to produce goods in these sectors, the southern states require a lot of man labor which they get in a really cheap price through slave labor. This became the reason why they oppose anti-slavery reformation, because it would badly hurt their ecnomy.
