What were the two easternmost spanish settlements on the northern frontier of spanish mexico?

    The answer would be Mexico City and the Yucatan Peninsula. The first settlement was lead by Hernan Cortes. Cortes established the first settlement which was composed of his men and soldiers. The second settlement in Yucatan happened during the time of Porfiriato.
