    The three economic causes of the American Revolution are:

    1) England placed high taxes on certain items the colonists bought from England.

    2) Colonists paid higher prices for goods imported from England.

    3) The colonists realized they could have economic success without England.

    Colonists had to deal with heavy taxes established by the British government, that increased the costs of goods. Also, these was an act purpose of which was to place a very huge tax on sugar from the West in order to force colonists to buy this product in Britain. As time passed, the taxes only increased so colonists decided to put an end to it.
