How did Progressives address child labor?

    The Progressives worker hard in order to improve the lives of the children in the Progressive era. Firstly they opened schools for the children of the immigrant workers so that they could be educated which would improve their chances of better employment. They also created the National Child Labor Committee which would investigate the the conditions in which the children worked. With the evidence they gathered and the photos they took they organized exhibitions in order to raise awareness about this problem.
