What different paths did Americans in the northeast take in the period from 1800 to 1850, and what challenges did they face?

    Mormons went to Salt Lake City Utah, were mistreated. While Californios went north from Mexico to California, they were frequently ignored by the Mexican government. The mountain men went up the Missouri River, to the Rockies, got assaulted by Indians and bears. Ministers came Oregon trail, assaulted by Indians. Pioneer ladies went along wagon trains, couldn't bring numerous effects, youngsters tumbled from wagons, individuals suffocated.
