    Some of the main reasons behind the inflation in germany was firstly coal, germany relied heavily on coal as it fuelled their country but because of the treaty of versailles and the hefty sum they had to pay as reparations, germany couldn’t afford to pay, so belgian and french troops invaded the ruhr and took practically all coal and industrial products, this stagnated germany’s economy badly. Another reason would be the printing of money, they printed a lot of money and it lost all its value pretty quickly
