    Isonzo river is the Italian river in which Italians and Austrians fought twelve battles for its control. The Isonzo Battle or more commonly known as the Isonzo Front is a 12 battles series between the Italian and Austro-Hungarian soldiers in WWI typically on Slovenia territory and the remains in Italy beside the River of Isonzo in the eastern Italian Front from June 1915 up to Nov 1917.
