How was the role of women in Aztec society different from the women's roles in other societies at that time?

    In the Aztec society, they were a lot more militarily oriented. Women have been filling the role of housemaker and mothering, however, there were a lot more things they can do. Crafting guilds were welcoming to women as they were respected by their crafting abilities, which worked well when it came to trading. Marriage was an important thing, both politically and on a family level. And in this society, women were in charge at their homes, making all of the majoring decisions.
