As English explorers spread throughout the New World, various settlements were established. Each of those settlements dealt with the institution of slavery differently. Some, like Georgia, hoped early on to prohibit slavery, while others, like Barbados, had a different perspective.     Barbados supported abolishing slavery, due to the fact that, there were plenty of women slaves. This allowed for a growing population. The plantation owns recognized they would have no need, with an already plentiful amount of workers, from the population that was growing on there
