The type of music that influenced America the most during the 1960s was 'rock and roll' music. Bold words were the signature of this music and musicians treat those as very important. The first was from Bob Dylan on anti-war music. Then continued by a British group called "The Beatles". Their produced songs were considered biggest-selling of the country. Other followed like Jimi Hendrix, Joan Baez, and the group called "The Who and Jefferson Airplane". A music festival even happened at that time called "Woodstock music festival".
