What was one of the great complaints of the Progressive movement?

Professionals and specialized employees (promoters of Progressive) demanded a professionalization or systematic licensing for those jobs where the professors worked. They were also against fraud and denounced corruption and government inefficiency. Trade unions and workers' associations used strikes and boycotts to get their complaints heard, they especially demanded that the conditions of the factory be improved and modernized; they also asked that health systems improve, and that only the medical professions were hired.
