What were the results of the interactions across cultures that took place during the Crusade

    This resulted in the 'cross pollination' of different cultures. Western European culture gained middle-eastern aspects such as Arabic numerals, and the use of spice such as cinnamon. Similar effects were seem in the American south during the slave trade. Slave were certainly the oppressed parties, but the south as a whole adopted some African culture, for example, many wealthy white southerners would go see African Witch Doctors to heal their ailments.
