What did the federalists and antifederalists resolve their debate?

    The federalists were in support of the constitution while the anti federalists were not, their opinion being that a constitution declaring the right of the people was unnecessary and should be a given. Never the less, in order to get the anti-federalists to agree to sign the constitution, they wrote the Bill of Rights. this left for change later on in the future with the elastic clause and more checks to keep the government from getting too overpowering.
