I believe the answer is A. to share a profoundly meaningful experience. It was all about Gandhi and his life full of enlightenment of using nonviolence written by Edgar Snow.

It was a meaningful experience of the author with Gandhi's teachings during the days when they were in a struggle for government action for India through nonviolent means. The author emphasized the value of truth. Also, the author cited that Gandhi explained that righteousness shall not be attained with wrong doings and that greediness of wealth can be prevented through social justice and wise decision making.
