Why was the Boston Tea Party formed

    Because the colonists from England who moved to America felt that they were being overly taxed for tea and other goods of that sort by the King of England, but especially for tea. So they formed the Boston Tea Party, and that was when they dumped all of the tea into the Boston Harbor as an act of protest and rebellion.
