    One theme can be individuality. Transcendentalism was a highly individual and spiritual movement, often emotional, and she put a lot of it into her poems, for example, the poem Because I could not stop for Death fits all of the things that i mentioned earlier. She also had a lot of natural occurrences mentioned which was also common in Transcendentalism.
