How did conflict develop between spanish settlers and native americans in the southwest?

    There were many reasons for the conflict. Spanish settlers came with guns and horses and started taking land and killing buffalo so the Natives disliked this so they retaliated and this went back and forth and eventually became a serious conflict that the Spanish managed to win since they were superior when it came to combat and had better equipment.
