Why did only some people get to see ancient Egyptian sculpted and paintings

Only some view can ancient sculpters and painting since theirs less remains because of robberies of the pyramids and some of the items have been destroyed. Though some are in preservations to be able preserve history and typically their at the museums in Egypt since they’ll get destroyed through travel.
