    C. The North American Colonies

The route ships followed to carry ships was known as "triangular trade." Ships would start in Europe and travel south to Africa to capture and fill with Africans, the ship would travel across the Atlantic and often times stop in the West Indies to "break" the Africans will so they would be become submissive slaves. The final stop was North America were they were sold at auction.
