Alright so in the same year of 396 BC, Rome drove out another group of Italians, and they continued fighting with another group called the Samnites, a tribe coalition. Now, they never did eradicate the Samnites, but they stopped fighting. By the end of these clashes and wars, Rome controlled almost all of Italy.
