What are natural resources? why did the japanese want access to additional natural resources? what does this indicate about japanese political and economic goals in the 1930s?

    Oil, metal, and rubber. Japan as a country could not produce these resources. In fact Japan has no natural resources except for some wood, and fish.

    Japan wanted to be the leader in Asia, and everybody bow to them.
