Relief for Public Land Debtors Act - this allowed debtors who were purchasing land from the government to have the part of the land which was already paid and relinquish the remaining amount. 2. Monetary expansion - there is some place which banks were suspended the special payments and issued a lot of notes which are inconvertible. Treasury Secretary Crawford suggested having restrictions on bank credits to prevent a future crisis. 3. Gave more support in protecting tariffs for the benefit of the American industry.
