    While the monarch in England were executed or overthrown for exceeding their powers, the monarchs in France, as well as their advisers, given more power and its use of power went mostly unchecked.

    When before England and France teamed up against Spain, now England and France are warring against each other. France wanted more territory under them and England is stopping them from doing so for fear of creating a universal monarchy.
