Kellan's neighbor went out of town for 9 days. Each day her neighbor was gone, Kellan earned $7dollar, for walking her neighbor's dog and $2dollar for watering her neighbor's plants. Write a numerical expression with parentheses for the total amount of money Kellan earned.

    His neighbor is out of town for nine days and he gets paid for these things every day so you would put the nine outside of the parentheses. You put seven plus two inside the parentheses because he is paid the sum of these numbers every day his neighbor is gone.
